Gasket Structure

The overall key design adopts a modular structure and flexible gasket for a softer,

Gateron Hot-Swappable Switch Sockets

With hot-swappable functionality, users can effortlessly replace switches without the need to disassemble the keyboard or use soldering tools. Switches can be quickly and individually removed, providing convenience for maintenance and enthusiasts who enjoy switching between different typing feels.

Multi-Layered Sound Dampering

K85R features a sophisticated four-layer structure for sound dampering and shock reduction,

including damping foam on the plate and cushioning pads beneath the switches to minimize operational noise.

Additionally, the bottom cover's sound-absorbing foam and silicone pads eliminate cavity and echo sounds,

resulting in a better and acoustically cleaner typing experience.

Keyboard Software

Quickly edit keyboard lighting, set up various macro keys and shortcuts, key layouts on the main layer and Fn layer, or configure your lighting effect to follow the music rhythm playing from your PC. Through this software, you can also set your favorite pictures as standby animation on the keyboard screen.
